M/S. Grindwell Norton Ltd

Down here in Kherla, near Pilani, things move a bit differently. We’re M/S. Grindwell Norton Ltd, and we’ve been part of this Rajasthan landscape for a good while. The sun gets really hot out here, and the dust is something you just get used to. Our work involves a lot of grinding wheels and abrasives. It’s a bit of a gritty business, literally. We spend our days making sure the factory side of things is running and that the orders for the workshops are going out. It’s a quiet area mostly, away from the big city noise, but we stay busy. We have folks from the surrounding villages working with us. The office is just a plain building where we keep the ledgers and handle the mail. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or anything like that. It's just stone and fans spinning to keep us cool. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. That's just how it is in this part of India. We aren't doing anything flashy. We just make the tools that other people use to make their own products. It feels good to see a crate of wheels headed off to some factory far away. We stick to what we know and try to keep things simple. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit sweaty. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
