We are located at C6 in the Pancharatna Apartments, which is in Chendhare, Alibag. This is our base for Mahindra Ugine Steel Ltd,Khopoli,Raigad. Most people think of Alibag as a place for vacations or the beach, but for us, it’s just where the work happens. The zip code is 402201, and we’ve been here in this apartment for a while now. It’s a regular residential building, so we’re surrounded by people going about their daily lives. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a room with some desks, computers, and a lot of paper. We handle things for the Khopoli operations from here. It’s a bit of a drive to the main plant, but being in Alibag gives us a different perspective. The building is okay, though the stairs can be a bit much if the lift is acting up. We spend our days answering calls, filing reports, and trying to keep the steel business organized. It gets humid here, being so close to the coast, and the salt air is something you just get used to. We don’t do any manufacturing in this flat, obviously. It’s all administrative work. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, which helps when we have to focus on the numbers. It’s just us doing our part for the company from a small corner of Raigad.
