We are located in Khopoli, Maharashtra, specifically at Flat No. 001 in Building No. 4 of the Ashiyana Estate. This is our local base for Mahindra Ugine Steel Co Ltd. Khopoli is a major industrial area, so the whole town has a very hardworking and gritty feel to it. Our office is on the ground floor of a residential building in Veena Nagar. It’s a very simple setup. We have a couple of rooms that we’ve turned into an office space with desks and some old filing cabinets. It isn't a fancy corporate headquarters. Since we are so close to the steel plants, there’s often a bit of dust in the air, but we’ve all gotten used to it. We handle the local administration and coordination from here. It’s a place where we can sit down and focus on the paperwork without the constant noise of the factory floor. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. There’s no formal reception area or lobby. You just walk up to the door and come right in. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking shipments on our computers. It’s a very practical way to work. The building is part of a quiet estate, which is nice when things get too busy at the production sites. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing slogans on the walls. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure everything runs correctly. It’s a straightforward, honest workplace.
