Our office is located in the Vision building, specifically in the 'A' Wing on the fourth floor over in Khanda Colony. Being in New Panvel means we deal with a lot of humidity and the usual Navi Mumbai traffic. Naveen Kumar is the one often coordinating things from here. It’s a typical office space for Lloyd Insulations(India) Ltd., nothing too flashy, just desks and computers and a lot of talk about insulation projects. The Khanda Colony area has grown quite a bit recently, so there are more shops around now than when we first started. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It gets pretty busy around mid-day with everyone coming and going. We don't really do the corporate jargon thing; we just talk like regular people and get the work sorted. Lunch is usually a quick break at a nearby stall or something brought from home. Dealing with the 410206 pin code means we see a lot of couriers. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the street below. We've been in this wing for a while now. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do across the region. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure the insulation side of things is handled. It's a lot of coordination between the site and this office.
