Dp World, Nhava Sheva

We operate from A-301 in Deep Chs Ltd., which is over in Sector-13 of Khanda Colony. Being out here in New Panvel West puts us in a good spot for what we do. Dp World, Nhava Sheva is a big name, but our office here is just where a lot of the ground-level planning happens. We deal with containers and the port mostly. It’s a lot of logistics, making sure everything is ready for the ships when they come in. The office is pretty basic, just a place to sit and work through the daily lists. We have a lot of people coming in and out, mostly drivers or staff from the port. It gets a bit dusty around here sometimes with all the construction and the traffic, but we don't mind it. We’ve been in this plot for a while and the neighbors know us. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on the schedule and making sure the cranes and trucks are doing what they are supposed to. Sometimes we have to work odd hours because the ships don't follow a nine-to-five schedule. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing around. We just try to keep things organized so nobody gets too frustrated. The office in Khanda Colony is a bit out of the way, but it’s quiet enough to actually get some work done. It’s a decent living.
