Arnav Cottage

Arnav Cottage is situated in Gharat Ali, right near the Bhavani Mandir and very close to Varsoli Beach. It’s a fairly easy spot to find if you head toward the temple. We have a few rooms here for guests who are visiting the coast. It’s a very basic setup, nothing like the big hotels you see in other parts of Alibaug. We spend a lot of time swept up in the daily chores of running a small cottage. There is always sand to be cleaned off the floors since the beach is so close. The rooms are simple with just the necessary furniture like a bed and a fan. Outside, we have a little bit of space with some trees where it’s nice to sit when the sun isn't too hot. The path coming in from the main road can be a bit tight for bigger cars, but most people manage just fine. We’ve been living and working here for a long time. Varsoli Beach is a bit quieter than the main beach in town, which is why people seem to like staying here. It’s a family-run place, so things aren't always perfect. Maybe a door squeaks or the paint is peeling in a corner, but it’s a real homey environment. We don't have a big staff, so we do most of the work ourselves, from changing the sheets to helping people find their way to the shore. It’s a peaceful spot for a short stay.
