V N Fire Service

V N Fire Service is located at Plot No. B 62 in the Balaji Super Market. This is right on MG Road in Pen, Raigad. Being near the LIC office is a big help because otherwise, people might miss our little corner of the market. The shop is tucked away behind some other stalls, so it can be a bit quiet back here. We handle a lot of fire safety stuff, like buckets and small extinguishers. The market is always a bit chaotic, especially on weekends when everyone comes in from the surrounding villages. We have a few benches where we sit when there are no customers. Most of our work involves checking the pressure in the tanks and making sure the labels are still readable. It is a very hot area, so we have a small fan that runs all day, though it mostly just moves the warm air around. We have been in Raigad for years and we know the local rhythms. We don't have any big mission or polished corporate talk. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them when the sun goes down. Sometimes we have to wait a long time for parts to arrive from the city. In the meantime, we just keep things tidy and talk to the other shopkeepers in Balaji Super Market. It is a simple way to make a living, and we are happy to be part of the local community here in Pen.
