We are located over in Neral, right near the Shivsena office at Shetkari Bhavan. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep our files and meet with the guys from the sites. We spend most of our time out in the sun, checking on the progress of the buildings. Neral is growing quite a bit these days, and we are just trying to keep up with the demand. The dust from the construction is everywhere, so our boots are never really clean. We don't have a big team of office workers or anything. It’s just us and a few supervisors. We deal with the day-to-day headaches of cement deliveries and making sure the water connections are sorted out. Sometimes the materials arrive late, and we have to sit around and wait, which is frustrating. We aren't into the whole corporate thing with suits and long meetings. We prefer just getting things done on the ground. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they have a question about a project. We’ve been working in Raigarh for a while now and we know how the local conditions are. It’s practical work and it’s often tiring, but it’s what we do. You won't find any glossy brochures here, just real people working on real buildings. That is about it really.
