Saurabh Kirana Store Kumhli

My family has been around Kumhli for a long time now. Saurabh Kirana Store is just the place where we keep the daily stuff people around here need. It is a small shop right in the middle of Kumhli. We wake up early to open the shutters every morning. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty inside, but we try our best to keep things tidy on the wooden shelves. Neighbors come by for a bit of sugar or some lentils when they run out. We do not have any fancy signs or bright lights. If you walk through the village, you will find us easily enough. It is mostly just me or a cousin sitting behind the counter. We know most of the faces that walk in through the door. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is getting things ready for their dinner. We keep the usual rice, soaps, and snacks. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, so we run out of certain items for a day or two. That just happens. Life moves a bit slow here in Kumhli. We do not do home delivery or anything like that. People just stop by on their way back from work. The light inside is a bit dim, but we can find whatever you are looking for quickly. It has been this way for a while now. We just want to make sure the locals have a place to get their basics without traveling.
