Jindal Steel & Power Ltd Raigarh

This Raigarh office for Jindal Steel & Power Ltd is situated in the Jail Line Colony. It’s right near the Jila Jail in Chhattisgarh. It’s a bit of a landmark so people usually find us without too much trouble. The area is fairly quiet compared to the main market. Our office is in a building that looks like many others on the street. We have a small yard out front where we park our cycles and scooters. Inside, it’s a typical workspace with rows of filing cabinets and a few desks pushed together. We handle the paperwork and local affairs for the Raigarh plant from here. It’s a lot of ledger work and keeping track of who is coming and going. The air conditioning is a bit loud but it keeps the heat away during the peak afternoon. We have a small break room where we keep a kettle for tea. Most of us have worked here for years, so we know the routine inside out. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass elevators; it’s just a solid, working office. We focus on the details of the steel production records. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big deadline, but usually, we are out by six. It’s an honest way to make a living and we take pride in keeping things organized in our own way. There is always something that needs doing before we leave.
