Jai Baba Industries Ltd is located out on Hasda Road in Gulabbagh. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial stuff out this way. We’ve got a fairly large space because we need the room for the machinery and all the materials we go through. It’s a dusty place, to be honest, and there’s always a bit of noise from the equipment running in the background. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’re used to the rhythm of the place. We start the day with a quick tea and then it’s straight into it. Gulabbagh is a busy hub, and being on Hasda Road means we get a lot of trucks passing through at all hours. We don't really have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out on the floor or in the small back office where the fans are always humming. It’s a practical kind of life. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look, we just care about whether the machines are running and the work is getting done. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a belt or a motor, but that’s just how it goes. It’s a long day usually, but we’ve got a good group of people here who don't mind getting their hands dirty to keep the place moving along. We just do what needs doing to keep the yard clear.
