Hari Om Rice Industries

Hari Om Rice Industries is located out at Plot No- 222 in Village Jorapali, near Post Dhanagar in the Raigarh area. If you are coming to visit, we are right across from the Jagdamba Dharam Kanta. You will see the big trucks lined up there to be weighed. Working in a rice industry means our days are dictated by the seasons and the harvest. It is a dusty and loud environment with the hullers and polishers running all day long. We have a good group of local workers who know the process inside out. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. The heat in Raigarh can be quite intense during the summer months, making the work in the shed even tougher. We aren't a big city company with a marketing department. We are just a village-based industry trying to process the paddy and get the rice out to the markets. Sometimes the machinery breaks down at the worst possible time, and we all have to pitch in to get it back up and running. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. We just focus on the grain and making sure it is dried and processed correctly. We have been part of the Jorapali community for many years and everyone knows where we are. It is a simple, hardworking life, and we are quite content with the way we run things here at the mill.
