Food Mart

Food Mart is located on Dhimrapur Road in Raigarh. We are quite close to Carmel School, so we see a lot of parents and students passing by every morning and afternoon. The road out front is usually busy with rickshaws and cars. Our shop is a standard local mart. We have rows of shelves filled with various food items and household goods. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to fit a lot of stuff into a small space. We spend our time restocking the shelves and cleaning the glass counters. It is a simple life of serving the people who live nearby. Sometimes we have a chat with the customers about the weather or local news. We don't have any corporate training or uniforms. We just wear what is comfortable for a day of lifting boxes and standing behind the counter. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked in places. We have a small fridge for cold drinks that hums loudly in the corner. Raigarh is a growing place, but our little corner on Dhimrapur Road feels familiar and steady. We open up the shutters early and stay until late in the evening. It is just a regular food mart where we do our best to keep things organized for the neighborhood.
