Flavours Ice Cream is located right behind Chandmari School here in Raigarh. Aarif Khan is the one who keeps things moving at our spot in Madhuban Para. It gets pretty hot in Chhattisgarh, as everyone knows, so having an ice cream place nearby makes sense. We aren't a massive factory with robots; it’s mostly just us keeping the freezers running and making sure the stock is fresh. The kids from the school sometimes stop by, and the noise from the playground is just part of our day. We decided to start this because people always want something cold and sweet. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big office. Most of the time, I’m checking on the temperatures or talking to the delivery guys. Raigarh is a growing place, but our neighborhood still feels like everyone knows each other. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the school and look for the Madhuban Para area. We try to keep a good variety so people don't get bored of the same old things. Running a cold chain business is tough because of the power cuts sometimes, but we’ve got our systems in place. It’s hard work, especially in the summer months when everyone is thirsty and hot. We’re just local people making a living with ice cream. There isn't much more to it than that. We just want to keep the local community happy with a bit of dessert now and then.
