Edac Engineering Ltd

We are Edac Engineering Ltd, and right now we are stationed out at the JSPL power plant site in Dongamahua. If you are looking for us, we are near Tamnar in the Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. It is a very industrial setting, being right there with the 2 X 135 MW DCPP units. This isn't a typical office in a city. It’s dusty, noisy, and there is a lot of heavy machinery around. We work right in the middle of it all. Our daily lives revolve around the plant and making sure the engineering aspects are on track. Most of us live nearby or in the temporary housing provided. It’s a bit of a rugged environment, but that’s the reality of power plant work. We don't have air-conditioned lobbies or receptionists. We just have our site offices and the actual project site. The weather in Raigarh can be pretty extreme—really hot in the summer and then heavy rains during the monsoon. We just work through it. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of job. We don't talk about ourselves in a fancy way because there’s no time for that. We just focus on the pipes, the structures, and the mechanical side of things. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. It’s definitely not your average office job in Raigargh.
