Deepak Small Micro Nidhi Limited

We started this over at Nathu Ram's spot in Jalpali. It is just a small office in Ward Number 5. Most people around here know exactly where we are without needing a map. We handle money stuff like keeping it safe and helping folks save a bit of what they earn. It is not fancy at all. My cousin helped me set up the old wooden desk last year and we have been here every day since. We have lived in this area forever, so we know the people and the local problems. The rains last week made the road out front a bit muddy, but we are still open for business. It is mostly just us sitting here talking to neighbors about their small accounts. Nothing big or corporate. We do not even have a big sign out front, just the office door. If you are walking past Ward 5, you will probably see us sitting inside. It feels a lot better than those big city places where nobody knows your name or cares about your day. Here, we know everyone's kids and what is happening at the market. It is a quiet life in Jalpali and we like it that way. We have got some paper ledgers and an old computer that acts up when it gets too hot. But we always get the work done eventually. Nathu Ram's place has been around for a long time, so it feels like home to us and the members.
