Alkem Laboratories Ltd.

At Alkem Laboratories Ltd., we are based out of Plot No C-6/1 in the Taloja Midc area. This part of the district is filled with all sorts of factories and warehouses, so it feels very much like a working-class environment. Our plot isn't huge, but it’s enough for what we need to do. The building is a bit gray and utilitarian, but it’s solid. Inside, the labs are where most of the action happens. It’s a lot of testing and re-testing, which can be a bit tedious but it’s just the nature of the job. We have a small break area where the fan makes a clicking sound, but it’s where we all gather to eat our tiffins. We don't have any big slogans on the walls. Mostly just safety signs and calendars that are a few months behind. The roads around Taloja can be quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the desks and equipment. It’s a very practical way of living. No one here is trying to climb a corporate ladder; we just want to do our work well and get home to our families. We are just a group of people at C-6/1 who know our roles and stick to them. It’s a quiet kind of busy. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy signs. The small sign at the gate is enough for people to find us. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
