Our little office is out in Village Sudarsanpur, actually right in Sunity Sarkar’s place. It’s a quiet area, nothing like the big cities, and that suits us just fine. Most people around here know where Sunity lives, so it’s not too hard to find if you’re from around these parts. We do various bits of trade and business from here. It’s basically just a room with a desk, a phone, and some ledgers. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us handling the paperwork and the orders. The village life is slower, so we don't feel the need to rush everything like they do in the city. Sometimes we sit outside and talk to the neighbors while we wait for deliveries to arrive. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’ve had some people ask why we don't move to a bigger town, but the overhead is low here and we like the community. We handle whatever comes our way, whether it's local supplies or organizing small shipments. There’s no big sign or flashing lights, just a small door and someone usually there to greet you with a nod. It’s practical and it works for us and the people we deal with every day. The seasons change, and the crops come and go outside, but we stay pretty steady with our work inside. It is a good life here and we do our best for the village folks.
