Our place is on Nishit Sarani in the Mohanbati area, which is part of Uttar Dinajpur. It’s a nice enough spot, though the road can get a bit congested when the market is in full swing. We’ve been here for a while, and the shop has become a bit of a regular stop for folks living nearby. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a few counters where we display what we have for sale. We don't really go for fancy displays or bright lights; we just put the stuff out where people can see it. Most mornings start with a bit of dusting and then checking what needs to be ordered from the bigger distributors. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just open the doors wide to let the natural light in and keep going. We know a lot of the people who walk by, and it’s common for someone to stick their head in just to say hello or ask about the weather. Uttar Dinajpur has its own pace, and we try to stick to that. It’s not about being the biggest or the flashiest shop on Nishit Sarani. We just want to have what people need so they don’t have to travel too far to find it. The wooden floorboards creak a bit when you walk on them, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. It is just a simple way to spend the day.
