Amar Choice Ice Cream Factory

The factory is situated near the Usg Sangha Club in the Dakshin Dinajpur district. It is more of a workspace than a shop you would see in a mall. We have the big machines going most of the time, so there is a constant hum in the air. It is not the quietest place to work, but we are used to it by now. Being near the club means there is usually something going on nearby, especially during the festivals. We focus on the production side of things here. There is a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates around the damp floor. We wear heavy boots and keep an eye on the gauges all day. The office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of papers stacked up. We don't really have customers coming in to sit down, it is more about the trucks coming and going. The air smells a bit like cold milk and sweet things if you stand near the main doors. We have a small yard where we park the delivery vans. It is a bit of a trek from the main town center, but we like the space we have here. We just keep our heads down and make sure the batches are right. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do. No fancy business here, just the daily grind.
