Our place is located at B-38 in the MIDC Chakan Industrial Area, which falls under the Khed taluka. If you’ve ever been out to Chakan, you know it’s a massive industrial hub. There are factories and warehouses everywhere you look. Zf Friendrichshafen Ag. India Pvt Ltd. fits right in with the rest of them. We have a fairly large space here to accommodate everything we do. It’s a lot of concrete and metal, which is what you expect in an industrial zone like this. The commute can be pretty long depending on where you're coming from, but we’re all used to the drive by now. Inside, it’s mostly about keeping the operations running smoothly. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. It’s a functional environment. The noise from the surrounding plants is constant, but it just becomes background noise after a few days. We take our breaks together in the small canteen area we set up. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or anything corporate. We are here to do a job, and that’s what we focus on from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the power goes out or the trucks get delayed, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a straightforward way of working. We’ve been in this part of Khed for a while and we know the rhythms of the industrial area well. It's just home for us.
