Zalkari Knowledge Foundation

Zalkari Knowledge Foundation is over in Alibag, specifically at Thikrul Naka. We are in the B wing of Shri Chaitanya Apartment, room 202. Working in Alibag is a lot different than being in the middle of a city like Mumbai. It’s slower here, and the air feels a bit different being so close to the coast. The apartment building is a regular residential-style block, and our office is on the second floor. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, and the hallway is usually quiet. Thikrul Naka is a busy junction by local standards, so there’s always something happening outside the gates, whether it’s people heading to the market or some local event. The office itself is quite plain. We have our desks and some chairs, and not much else in the way of decoration. We prefer it that way because it’s easier to focus. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in a place like this, so we just wait it out or take a break. It feels more like a small-town operation where you know the person at the shop downstairs. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a couple of rooms where we handle all our business and keep our records. It’s a simple, practical way to work, and being in Alibag makes the whole day feel a bit more manageable.
