Yuva Asmita Foundation

Yuva Asmita Foundation is situated at House Number 370 in Chochinde, which is near Mahad in the Raigad district. Raigad is known for its beautiful hills and heavy rains, and being in Chochinde, we get to experience all of that. Our office is more like a local house than a corporate office. It’s a simple structure where we gather to get things done. We don't have fancy office equipment or a high-tech setup. There are a few tables, some plastic chairs, and a cupboard for all our documents. The surroundings are quite peaceful, far away from the noise of a big city. You can see trees and hills from the doorstep. During the monsoon, the whole place turns very green, though the roads can get a bit tricky to navigate. People in the village know where House 370 is, so we don’t really need a big sign. Most of us are local to the Mahad area, so we understand the local way of doing things. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we just work until the day’s tasks are finished. It’s a very practical way of living and working. There’s no pretense here, just a group of people in a small room in Raigad trying to keep the foundation running. It’s humble, a bit worn around the edges, but it’s where we belong and it works for what we need.
