Vidya Prabha Hospital

If you head over to Shastri Nagar in Khopoli, you’ll find us at number 226. Vidya Prabha Hospital has been a fixture in this part of Raigarh for quite a while now. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main highway, but once you get into the residential area, it’s easy to spot. The building is painted a plain color and sits right on the main stretch of the neighborhood. We get a lot of workers from the nearby industries coming in, along with the families who have lived in Khopoli for generations. The air here feels a bit different than the city, and we like that. Inside the hospital, the floors are always being mopped because people bring in a lot of dust from the road. We have a small pharmacy area right near the entrance so people can get what they need without walking too far. The staff speaks the local language and knows how to make people feel a bit more at ease when they’re worried about their health. We don't use a lot of complicated systems; we still write things down in big registers and keep paper folders for everyone. It’s a practical way of doing things that has worked for us for years. The light comes in through the big windows in the hallway during the afternoon, making it feel a bit more like a home than a sterile clinic. We just do our work and look after the people.
