If you are looking for us, we are in Raigad Sardar Nagar, right near Hotel Upkar. The name Shaheen Sufiyan Patel Collection is a bit of a mouthful, we know, but it uses our family names and that is important to how we run things. We mostly deal with clothes and different kinds of fabrics for the local community. The shop is usually packed with different materials, and sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit because there are rolls of cloth sitting everywhere. Being near Hotel Upkar helps people find us since everyone in this part of town knows where that is. We get a lot of local ladies coming in to look at the new designs or just to chat about what they want to wear for a wedding that's coming up soon. It’s a noisy, colorful place and we like it that way. We aren't some high-end boutique where you can't touch anything on the racks. Here, you can feel the fabric and take your time deciding. My family has been doing this for a long time, and we just enjoy the daily routine of opening up the shutters, tidying the shelves, and seeing who walks through the door. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink chai, and other days we can't keep up with the customers. It’s just a normal local shop in Sardar Nagar.
