Saisha Creations

Our place is in Nerul, over at Sector 21. We are on the first floor of Lavika Palace, in unit D-18. Nerul is a nice area, a bit quieter than some other parts of Navi Mumbai. We’ve been here for a while, working on our creations. It’s mostly just a few of us in a small room with our machines and fabrics. The building is okay, nothing special, but it’s easy to get to. We usually get in around nine and start by clearing off the cutting tables. There’s always scrap fabric everywhere. We try to keep it tidy but when you’re busy, things just pile up. The neighbors in the building are friendly enough. We share the floor with a few other offices. Sometimes we go downstairs to the local shops for a quick break. Living and working in Nerul is pretty convenient. The layout of the place is simple. We have a main work area and a small corner for keeping the finished pieces. It’s not a big fancy studio. It’s a working space where things get made. We take our time with what we do. It’s a bit cramped when we have a big delivery coming in, but we make it work. It’s just how we operate. We have a few plants on the windowsill that we try to keep alive. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost and we have to go down.
