We operate out of Chakan, specifically at Datta Nagar 292. If you know Chakan, you know it’s all about the auto industry. Sahas Auto Components Pvt Ltd is right in the middle of that. Our facility is a place where things are actually made. There is the smell of oil and the sound of machines running for most of the day. It’s not a quiet office job. We are down on the floor making sure the components are coming out the way they should. The building at 292 is functional and built for work, not for looks. We have been here for a while now, watching the area grow and more factories pop up around us. It’s hard work and the days can be long, especially when there's a big order to get out. We don't have a lot of time for fancy speeches or polish. We just focus on the machines and the output. Most of the staff live nearby, so it’s a local crowd. We deal with technical drawings and metal parts all day long. Sometimes a machine breaks down and everyone has to scramble to fix it, which is just part of the routine. We are a small cog in the big machine of the Chakan industrial belt. We just do our part and try to do it right every day without any fuss. The lunchroom is small and the floor is always a bit dusty, but we don't mind much as long as the work gets done correctly.
