Rajaram Parab

You can find me at Room Number 3 in Narayan Sadan, which is located in Navi Mumbai. My name is Rajaram Parab and this is where I’ve set up shop. It’s a small room, but it’s enough for what I do. I’ve lived in Maharashtra all my life and moving to this part of Navi Mumbai was a good decision for me. The building is older, but it has a lot of character and the people living here are friendly. I spend most of my day at my desk, dealing with various tasks that come across my plate. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped when I have more than one visitor, but we manage just fine. I don't go in for fancy decor or expensive furniture; a good table and a solid chair are all I really need. The address is easy enough to find if you know the landmark. There’s a certain routine to life here—the morning sounds of the city, the postman coming by around noon, and the evening quiet. I try to stay organized, but sometimes things get a bit jumbled when I’m busy. I’m just an ordinary person trying to provide a service that people find useful. I don’t make big claims about being the best; I just show up every day and do what I’m supposed to do. Navi Mumbai has grown so much since I first moved into Narayan Sadan. Back then, things were much quieter. Now, there are shops and offices everywhere, but Room Number 3 remains pretty much the same as it was on day one. I like the consistency of it. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. I handle various administrative things and local errands for people who don't have the time. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and a good memory. I don't use a computer for everything; I still like my physical registers and pens. There’s something about writing things down that makes them feel more real. People often stop by just to chat for a minute before they go about their day. I don't have a website or a social media page because I’ve never really seen the need for it. If people need me, they know where Narayan Sadan is.
