Raigad Hospital And Research Center

Raigad Hospital And Research Center is situated in Karjat, within the Raigad district. We have been here for a good number of years, providing a place for people in the district to get medical help without having to travel all the way into the bigger cities. Karjat is a bit more relaxed than the city, but the hospital stays very busy. We call it a research center too, but mostly we are just a working hospital dealing with the daily needs of the local people. The building is fairly large, with different sections for different types of care. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but most people find us okay. We have a lot of local staff who have been with us since the beginning. The halls are often crowded with families waiting for news, and it can get a bit loud during visiting hours. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just focus on the patients who are actually in the beds. The equipment is a mix of new things we've managed to buy and older stuff that still works fine. It is a lot of work keeping a place this size running in a district like Raigad, but we manage. We just take it day by day and try to keep things simple and honest for everyone who walks through the doors. It is hard work but we keep at it.
