Our place is at Gat No 200 in Mahalunge, right along the Chakan Talegaon Road. It is near the Shri Shivaji Corporation Housing Society, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Chakan is a very industrial area, so the roads are always full of big trucks and dust. We work with precision parts and the factory floor is filled with different types of machinery. It can get quite hot inside during the summer months, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the machines are running the way they should. There is always a smell of oil and cut metal in the air here. Our office is just a small room off to the side with some filing cabinets and a couple of desks. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down for a bit. Most of our workers live nearby and have been with us for a while. We don't have a big fancy entrance, just the gate and the name on a simple sign. The work is repetitive sometimes, but it needs to be done carefully. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get through the list of jobs for the day.
