Pukharaj Kisturchand

Pukharaj Kisturchand is our place in Poynad. We are very close to the Jain Mandir, which is how most people find us. Alibag is a nice area and being at this post in Poynad feels right for us. We have been operating for years. It is a traditional kind of setup. We handle various goods and supplies that people in the village and surrounding areas need. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We just keep our shelves stocked and talk to our customers. Many of the people who come in have been our neighbors for decades. We know their families and they know ours. It is the kind of business built on just being there every day. Sometimes things get slow when the weather is bad, but usually, there is a steady flow of people coming from the temple or just passing through. We manage the stock ourselves. It takes a lot of work to keep track of everything, but we prefer doing it this way. The building is old but it serves its purpose. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you need something, you just walk in and ask. We try to be helpful and keep things straightforward. That is how things have always been done at Pukharaj Kisturchand. Being near the Jain Mandir means we see a lot of familiar faces every day and we hope to keep it that way for a long time.
