Omsil Tex Private Limited is out in the industrial part of the region, specifically in Kamothe near Kalamboli. We are part of the Jawahar Co-op Industrial Estate on plot numbers 243 and 244. Being in Panvel means we are close to the main transport hubs, which is very useful for a textile business. The estate is always busy with trucks and workers moving goods around. Our building is a functional industrial structure with a lot of open space for storage and a small area for our desks. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a fancy suit; it’s more about being practical and getting your hands dirty when needed. The office part is quite basic—just some sturdy tables, a few computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with the logistics and the paperwork side of things from here. During the rainy season, the roads around the estate can get quite muddy, and it’s always a bit of a struggle to keep the office floor clean. We don't have a lot of frills. There’s a small stove in the corner where we make tea, and that’s about it for luxuries. Most of our time is spent checking on shipments and making sure the numbers match up. It’s hard work in a noisy environment, but it’s what we know and we just get on with it. We try to keep our operations as efficient as possible.
