Olakh Human Right Forum

We are out in Uran, specifically in the Karanja Satghar area. House number 1174 is where you’ll find us. It’s a local spot in Raigarh, and it’s been our base for a while now. Olakh Human Right Forum isn't some big city organization with glass walls and expensive rugs. We’re right here in the neighborhood where things actually happen every day. The 400702 area code is home to us. It’s a bit of a trek for people coming from the main city, but we like being close to the ground here in Uran. The house is old but it serves our purposes well enough. We usually have a few people hanging around talking about what needs to be fixed or who needs some help. It’s not always quiet. Actually, it’s rarely quiet. There's always some news or someone dropping by with a question. We don’t really do formal meetings with long agendas and stuff. We just talk and see what can be done. Being in Raigarh means we see a lot of different things. It’s a coastal vibe, sort of. We’ve grown used to the pace of life here. Some days are slow, while others are just non-stop from morning till night. We try to keep things simple. No fancy titles or big speeches for us. Just the forum, the house, and the people who show up. It’s been this way since the start. We know the neighbors and they know what we’re about.
