This facility is out in Village Ambethan, specifically at Gate No. 150 in the Khed taluka. It's a bit of a drive to get out here if you're coming from the city, but it's where the industrial space is. The plant is quite large and there's always something going on. We work on automotive parts and tech. It's a noisy environment with machines running and trucks coming in and out of the gate all day long. Most of us wear uniforms and have to follow all the safety rules because of the heavy equipment. It’s not a desk job for most of the people here. We spend the shift on the floor, making sure the production lines are moving and the parts are being made correctly. It gets quite hot in the summer inside the sheds. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for lunch, which is usually the loudest part of the day. The village surroundings are quiet compared to the noise inside our gates. We have a lot of different sections for different parts of the car. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s important to get the numbers right for the orders. We aren't trying to be fancy; we just have a schedule to keep. Sometimes there are delays with parts or the machines break down, and then everyone has to scramble to get things back on track. We stay until the quota is met and the floor is cleaned up for the next morning.
