Muneera Heights is a tall building in Sector-35, and we are tucked away in A-705. Being in Kamothe is convenient because it’s a growing part of Navi Mumbai. You see a lot of new construction happening whenever you look out the window. Our office isn’t huge, but it has enough room for our files and a small table where we eat lunch. Raigarh-410209 is the area code we use for all our mail. Most of our work involves checking over documents and making sure everything is lined up for the exim business. It’s a lot of sitting and reading, to be honest. On hot days, the fan just moves the warm air around, but we manage. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just us here, making sure the daily tasks don’t pile up too high. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout for the seventh floor. The neighbors in the building are mostly quiet, which helps when we need to focus. We’ve been here for a bit now and know the local shops where we get our stationery and snacks. It’s a straightforward setup. No one wears suits unless there’s a really specific reason. We just focus on the work that comes across our desks and try to stay organized.
