Bharati Chemicals Paints

If you head down to MIDC Mahad, you’ll find us at Plot No. C-69. That’s where Bharati Chemicals Paints is based. Being in an MIDC area means we are surrounded by other plants and factories, so there’s a lot of industry happening all at once. Mahad has its own rhythm, especially with the rain during the monsoon season. Everything gets very green, but the roads can be a bit of a challenge. Our plot is a mix of storage space and where we actually handle the paint and chemicals. It’s a messy business, to be honest. No matter how careful you are, you’re probably going to go home with a bit of color on your clothes. We don't mind. It shows we’ve been working. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the ledgers and the phone. We don't have any fancy decor or anything meant to impress visitors. We just want to make sure the batches are mixed right and the orders go out on time. The guys on the floor have been doing this for years, so they know the smell of a good mix better than any machine ever could. It’s just a regular local business. We show up early, do the work, and head home when the job is finished for the day, usually feeling pretty tired but alright.
