Mato Shri Hospital

Mato Shri Hospital is situated in Tamote, right near the Khandeswer station. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. It's a convenient spot for anyone coming in from the surrounding areas. We have been here for a while now, and the building has seen a lot of people come and go. It’s not a shiny new skyscraper, just a regular hospital where we do our daily work. I usually start the day by checking the schedule, though half the time people just show up without an appointment because they live right down the street. The lobby is often full of families waiting around. We try to keep things as calm as possible despite the bustle outside from the station. Tamote is a growing place, and we see that in the variety of people who walk through our doors. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, from the lights to the paperwork. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just here to provide a place for people in Tamote to go when they are sick or injured. Sometimes the rain makes the trek from the station a bit muddy, but people still make it in. It feels good to be part of the community here. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just work. Every day is a bit different and that is what makes it interesting for us. We just keep on going.
