Our office is in Flat 106, A Wing of the Rose building in Panvel. It’s a residential building, so it feels a bit more like a home than a sterile office. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our pharmaceutical records and some of our samples. Panvel is a fast-growing area, and being out here in Raigarh means we have a bit more space than we would in the middle of Mumbai. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different vendors and making sure our paperwork is in order for the regulators. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and staring at screens, to be honest. We take turns making tea in the small kitchen area we have. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important. We aren’t a massive company with branches everywhere. It’s just this one spot where we manage everything. Sometimes we get deliveries at odd hours, and we have to run down to meet the driver. The building is generally quiet during the day since most people are out at their own jobs. We like it that way because it lets us get through the list of tasks we have for the day. There’s no big sign on the door, just a small nameplate. We’re just regular people trying to run a small pharmaceutical business. It’s a simple life and we don't ask for much more than that.
