Our place is right above the Swad Hotel on the Bombay-Goa Road in Pen. If you’re driving through Raigarh, you probably know the area. It’s a busy road with a lot of travelers stopping for food downstairs. We deal with both Ayurvedic products and regular pharmaceuticals. The smell from the kitchen downstairs sometimes drifts up, which makes us all pretty hungry by noon. It’s a simple office on the first floor. We don't have many employees, just a small group that knows how to handle the inventory. The road outside is always noisy with buses and trucks heading toward the coast. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the vibrations from the heavy vehicles. It’s a practical location for us since getting to the highway is easy. Most of our work is just moving boxes and filling out forms. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It’s just shelves, files, and a few fans to keep the air moving when it gets humid. Pen can be very hot in the summer, so we drink a lot of water and try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We aren't doing anything flashy. It’s just about getting the medicines to the people who need them. We take it one day at a time and hope the traffic isn't too bad.
