Lucas Tvs Limited

If you head out toward the industrial side of Chakan, you will find us in the Jalil Compound at B1/1. It’s a very busy part of the world, with a lot of big sheds and heavy trucks constantly coming and going through the main gates. Lucas Tvs Limited occupies one of those sections. The compound itself is huge and it can get very dusty when the wind picks up across the open ground between the buildings. We have a lot of space for our work inside, with high ceilings and long rows of metal parts. It is not the kind of place where you come for a quiet conversation; there is almost always the sound of a forklift or a machine running somewhere in the distance. We wear our work clothes and keep our heads down most of the day. The Jalil Compound has a few different entrances, and B1/1 is our specific spot near the back. Lunch is usually eaten quickly in the small break area before we get back to the tasks. Chakan is a bit far out from the city center, so many of us have a long commute to get here every morning. The air smells like oil and sometimes like rain on hot asphalt. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and the basic safety notices we need. It’s a practical environment for doing a long day's work. It’s just how the days go out here.
