Lakshvedhi Mass Media Private Limited is based in Alibag. Our office is in the Shreeviraj Shribaug area, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. It is not like those media offices you see in Mumbai with glass walls and expensive furniture. We are in a more traditional building. Alibag is a small town, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. We started this business because we saw a need for media services in this region. We handle various things, from local announcements to bigger projects for clients who find us through word of mouth. The office has a few computers and a lot of old files stacked up in the corner. It is a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. The walk to the office is nice, especially in the mornings before it gets too hot. We do not have a big team, just a few local people who are good at what they do. We do not spend money on advertising ourselves because we are usually busy enough with the work we have. Sometimes the power goes out, so we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of living and working in Ratnagiri district. We do not have a mission or a fancy philosophy. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families. It is a decent way to earn a living without the stress of the big city.
