Kondhana Foundation

Our place is right by the Zp School in Karwandi, Karjat. It is House number 85. It is a quiet area mostly, unless the school kids are out playing during their break time. Being here in Raigarh, we get some very heavy rain during the monsoon, which can make getting to the office quite interesting. The Kondhana Foundation is just us working from this spot every day. We have been around for a while now and most people in the village know exactly where we are located. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming all the way from the main city, but we like it here. The air is better than the crowded areas. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the locals who live nearby. There is always someone stopping by to ask us something or just to say hello. We do not have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few of us. We have some plastic chairs, a big table, and a lot of notebooks. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside. We do not really do big advertisements. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It is a simple setup. We deal with whatever comes our way. Raigarh is a big district and there is always something happening. We try to keep track of it all from our little corner near the school. It has been a good experience so far.
