It’s a busy spot in the Raigarh district, and there is always something happening outside our window. Being so close to the station means we see all the commuters rushing back and forth every single day. We set up Kolaba Urban Nidhi Limited to give local people a place to save their hard-earned money without any fuss. The Maharashtra weather can be tough, especially in the monsoon, but our little office stays dry and welcoming. We have a few desks and some files stacked up, nothing too fancy. People usually stop by on their way home from the train or after visiting the temple. It’s a very local vibe here. We talk about the local news and how the trains are running while we process the deposits. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to be a reliable place for the people in the 410201 area. Most of our members are people we’ve known for years.
