Our business is run from a flat in Ganga Galaxy, which is in Sector 22 of Navi Mumbai. It is a residential building, so our office is basically a converted apartment. We are in Flat A-704 on the seventh floor. It is quite a nice view of the city from up here when we take a break. Working from a home like this means things are a bit informal. We have a couple of rooms filled with sample garments and rolls of fabric. The dining table is usually covered with sketches and measurement sheets. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and tailors. Navi Mumbai is a bit quieter than the main city, which helps us focus on our designs. We are a small team, and we often eat our lunch together in the kitchen. Sometimes the courier guys get confused because they are looking for a commercial building, but they eventually find us. We don't have a storefront, so most of our work is done behind the scenes. We handle everything from picking the right buttons to checking the final hems. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives and we have to find space for all the bags. We just try to stay organized and keep the business moving. It’s a simple way to work, and it keeps our costs down. We aren't trying to be fancy, just trying to make good fashion.
