Goldslush Chocolates Private Limited is in Karanje, at Survey Number 308. We are specifically on the second floor, flat number 9 of the Varadvinayak Apartment. It’s a bit different to have a chocolate business in an apartment building. We don't have a lot of space, so everything has to be very organized. Every table and every shelf has a spot. We keep the air conditioning running most of the time. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main roads around here. We spend our hours melting and pouring chocolate into various molds. It takes a lot of time. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to start a batch over. We don't have any big signs outside the apartment. Most people wouldn't even know we are here just by looking at the building. We keep the kitchen area clean. It's just a small group of us working in a few rooms. We handle the packaging ourselves, sitting at the main table and wrapping things by hand. It's a slow process, but we just take it one day at a time in our little corner of Karanje. It's not a big factory, just us in the apartment doing the work. We watch the temperature and keep the trays moving. When we finish a batch, we stack them up for delivery. It's quiet work mostly, but it keeps us very busy during the day.
