Day Care Clinic

Slinvane Village is where we decided to set up our clinic, specifically at Plot No. 0238 along the Bombay Pune Road. Being situated on such a major highway means we see plenty of people passing through, but most of our regulars are just the folks from around the village area. The clinic is easy to spot once you get onto that specific stretch of the road. It is a very plain building, nothing too special to look at from the sidewalk. Inside, we have a couple of rooms set up for basic health checkups and for when local people are feeling under the weather. The dust from the heavy traffic on the road can be a bit of a nuisance, so one of us is always cleaning the floors and the chairs to keep things tidy. It gets especially busy in the early mornings when the workers are heading out for the day. We do not have a huge staff here, just a few of us who know the local families by their names. When the weather gets bad, the road out front can get quite muddy, but people still manage to make their way in. We have been in this spot since the village started growing more toward the main road. It feels good to be the place people come to when they have a cough or a small scrape that needs fixing. We still keep a lot of our notes on paper in big folders. (252 words)
