Capricorn Care Foundation

Our place is at Flat 704 in the Durja building on Plot 23. It is right in Sector 16 over in Kalamboli. This part of Navi Mumbai is pretty busy most of the time. We have been working out of this flat for a while now. It is not a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a regular apartment where we set up some desks and chairs. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work right, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving I guess. The neighborhood is full of families and small shops, so there is always noise from the street. We do our paperwork on a couple of old tables. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about what needs to be done. It is a very simple way of doing things. We don't have fancy signs or big posters on the walls. It is just a practical space where we can sit and focus. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk over in the mornings. It isn't always perfectly organized, but we manage to get things finished. We just try to help out where we can without making a big fuss about it.
