Balaji Motors Training School

We are tucked into Shop No 5 over at the Raj Ratna Complex in Mahad. If you’re around the 402301 area of Raigad, you’ve probably walked past our door at some point. Balaji Motors Training School isn't a big corporate office; it’s just a small shop where we handle all the paperwork and talk to people wanting to learn how to drive. We have a few cars that we keep running for the lessons. Driving in Maharashtra can be tricky, especially with the local traffic in Mahad, so we spend most of our day out on the roads with students who are nervous behind the wheel. It’s a practical business. We don't have fancy waiting rooms or anything like that. You come in, sign up, and we get to work. Sometimes the cars need maintenance because they get a lot of use, and we have to juggle the schedule. We’ve taught a lot of people from this town how to handle a clutch and park properly. It’s rewarding in its own way when someone finally gets their license. The office is usually a bit cluttered with forms and keys, but we know where everything is. People stop by to ask about the fees or the timings, and we just give them the straight answers. It’s a local operation run by people who know these streets well. We just keep the engines running and the students moving.
