Asiatique Foods Trade Private Limited

We operate out of Sector 13 in Panvel. It’s a residential area but we have our own space in Ashapura Darshan. Asiatique Foods Trade is basically us dealing with food items and trading them where they need to go. We spend a lot of time checking quality and making sure the storage is right. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of checking boxes and looking at expiry dates. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easier when people need to drop off samples or documents. Panvel is growing fast, so there's always something new being built nearby. We aren't a massive team. It’s just a handful of us making sure the orders are correct. We use a lot of local transport to get things moved. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things difficult around here, especially with the roads in Raigarh getting flooded. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The paperwork for food trading is quite a bit, so the printer is usually running. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just talk to our regular contacts and see what’s needed in the market. It’s a practical business. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea about five times a day. It keeps us going through the busy afternoons. Dealing with food means you have to be careful, so we spend extra time on the small details.
