Alankar Traders

Palace Road is where you will find us, right near the girls' high school. It gets really loud around three in the afternoon when all the students are heading home, but the rest of the day is alright. Alankar Traders has been operating out of this spot for a long time. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. We just sell bits and pieces that people in the area need. The shop is a bit small, and we have boxes piled up in the corners because there isn't enough shelf space. We don't have a website or a fancy way of doing things. People just walk in and ask if we have a specific item, and we go look for it in the back. Sometimes it takes a minute to find. We know most of the neighbors by their first names. It is more about getting through the day and making sure the inventory is somewhat organized. The floor is old tile and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it works fine for us. We just focus on what's in front of us. If we don't have something, we tell you straight. No point in making things up. It's a simple life here on Palace Road. We open early and close when the street gets quiet. We don't bother with much else besides the shop and our families. It's just a regular trade business for ordinary folks.
